In contrast to the dry weather across the country, the sky in southeastern Sindh is expected to remain partly cloudy. The department has highlighted the possibility of rain, including strong winds and thunderstorms, in some areas of the region.
The temperatures recorded on Monday morning reflected the varied weather conditions in major urban centers. The capital, Islamabad, and Peshawar both recorded twenty-two degrees Celsius. Lahore had a warm start to the morning with twenty-seven degrees, while Karachi was at twenty-eight degrees Celsius.
In other parts of the country, Quetta was at sixteen degrees Celsius, Gilgit at fourteen degrees, while Murree and Muzaffarabad were both at seventeen degrees Celsius this morning.
According to the Meteorological Department’s forecast for Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the weather is expected to remain dry in Srinagar, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramulla. Meanwhile, the weather in Jammu is likely to remain hot and dry.
According to the temperatures recorded in the region on Monday morning, Srinagar and Anantnag were at fourteen degrees Celsius, Jammu was significantly higher at twenty-four degrees, while Pulwama, Shopian, and Baramulla recorded fifteen degrees Celsius.
