Provincial Minister for Auqaf, Syed Riaz Hussain Shah Shirazi, has said that the Sindh government is taking various measures to improve the education sector. He was interacting with students from SST Model School, Tando Allahyar, at his residence, Shirazi House in Thatta, on Sunday. He welcomed the students in a unique traditional manner by adorning them with a “Lungi” at the reception and emphasized the dire need for educational development.
The event was attended by a large number of local dignitaries, educationists, parents, and the students themselves.
In his address, the provincial minister said that the progress and success of any nation are possible only through education. He said that in the modern era, development is not possible without acquiring knowledge and practical skills.
Shirazi affirmed that the Sindh government is implementing various measures to improve the education sector. He explained that the goal is to ensure that every child in the province has access to quality educational opportunities.
Describing the younger generation as the nation’s most valuable asset, the minister stressed the urgent need to equip them with modern scientific, technical, and social sciences. He said that the promotion of knowledge will not only create new employment opportunities for the youth but will also strengthen the province’s economy.
Addressing the young students, he advised them to focus all their attention on their studies, respect their teachers, and make hard work their motto. He expressed hope that by doing so, they will bring honor to the country and the nation in the future.
