Higher Education – HEC Reschedules Major University Admission and Recruitment Tests

The Higher Education Commission said today that its Education Testing Council (ETC) has postponed several critical nationwide admission and recruitment examinations, altering the academic and career timelines for numerous candidates across the country.

In a significant schedule revision, the ETC declared that the Undergraduate Studies Admission Test (USAT), the Higher Education Aptitude Test (HAT) for MS/MPhil and PhD programs, and the AML/CFT Recruitment Test have been moved. These assessments, originally slated for October 11-12, 2025, will now be conducted on Saturday, November 1, and Sunday, November 2, 2025.

Additionally, the Law Admission Test (LAT) has also been deferred. The council stated that this examination, which was previously scheduled for November 2, 2025, has been shifted to a new date.

Aspirants for law programs will now sit for the LAT on Sunday, November 9, 2025. The announcement necessitates that all affected applicants take note of the revised timetables for these crucial evaluations.
