Somber Development as Hamas Transfers Remains of Three Hostages to Red Cross

In a grim conclusion to their captivity, Hamas has transferred the remains of three Israeli hostages to the Red Cross.

According to a report on Monday, the bodies are slated for transport to Israel, where authorities will undertake the process of formal identification. This development follows a prior agreement that saw the release of all 20 living captives held by the group in Gaza.

In exchange for the liberation of the living hostages, Israel had previously freed nearly 2,000 Palestinian convicts and individuals detained during the conflict.
