More than 33 driving licensing vans operational for the issuance of driving licensing centers in Punjab

To bring a revolutionary change in the traffic system, the Punjab government, under the guidance of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, has initiated several measures. It was officially stated on Tuesday that the focus of these efforts is to establish a comprehensive network of driving licensing centers across the province, aiming to enhance accessibility and transparency.

The introduction of more than 33 mobile driving licensing vans in this campaign is a significant step. These mobile units deliver essential services directly to the public, ensuring quality and convenience. Residents now have the opportunity to engage in the licensing process in a more transparent and effective manner.

In a recent video message, DIG Waqas Nazir, Head of Traffic Punjab, highlighted the facilities provided by these mobile units. This initiative promises to provide a seamless service experience, reducing the bureaucratic hurdles traditionally present in obtaining a driver’s license.

Citizens are encouraged to actively participate in the improvement of these services. Educational institutions have been invited to include these vans in their schedules. Additionally, the government has provided facilities for the public to report any complaints related to service quality or corruption. Complaints can be submitted via QR code or by calling the dedicated helpline, 1787.

With these measures, the Chief Minister’s vision of an effective and transparent traffic system is becoming a reality, promising significant benefits for the people of Punjab.
