Meeting of Punjab Assembly members with Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, discussion on public welfare

Punjab Assembly members Mian Shahid Hussain Khan and Muhammad Aun Jahangir had a detailed conversation with Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif today. The dialogue revolved around important public issues, ongoing development projects, and the current law and order situation in the region.

During the meeting, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif expressed heartfelt condolences to the family affected by the unfortunate incident in Kahna. She also offered special prayers for the well-being and safety of the affected children in the incident.

The assembly members appreciated the government’s financial strategy, especially Punjab’s third surplus budget. They approved the “Apna Khet, Apna Rozgar” project, aimed at promoting agricultural self-sufficiency and employment opportunities. Additionally, they supported the green electric bus project, which intends to bring environmentally friendly public transport to the tehsil level.
