President Lauds Historical Polish Contribution to Pakistan’s Air Force on Independence Day

The President of Pakistan today paid tribute to the foundational role of Polish engineers, pilots, and technicians in establishing the Pakistan Air Force (PAF), highlighting their contribution as a lasting symbol of the bond between the two nations in a message commemorating Poland’s 107th Independence Day.

In an official statement released ahead of the occasion on November 11, the President extended warm greetings to the people of the Republic of Poland, reaffirming the enduring friendship between the two countries.

The message underscored the deep-rooted ties that have consistently strengthened since diplomatic relations were established in 1962. This partnership, built on mutual respect, now encompasses a wide spectrum of collaboration, including political dialogue, trade, investment, defence, education, and cultural exchange.

The President also recalled with appreciation the productive 9th Round of Bilateral Political Consultations held in Warsaw in July 2025. The talks reaffirmed a shared commitment to enhance cooperation in key sectors such as energy, agriculture, science and technology, migration, and higher education.

Concluding his message, the President expressed optimism for the continued growth of bilateral relations and conveyed his heartfelt wishes for the well-being and prosperity of the Polish people.
