Governor Sindh Stresses Urgent Need to End Violence Against Children

On the occasion of World Children’s Day, Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori today underscored the critical need for a secure environment for the nation’s youth, identifying violence, exploitation, and discrimination as significant threats to their healthy development.

Observing the day under the theme ‘My Day, My Rights,’ the governor asserted that safeguarding the rights, security, and educational opportunities of every child is a collective obligation of both the state and the community at large.

Describing children as the country’s most valuable asset and its promising future, Tessori affirmed that the Governor House is actively implementing practical measures to protect and promote the welfare of young people.

He concluded that the international observance serves not just to spotlight the challenges confronting children, but also as an opportune moment to renew a united commitment and intensify efforts towards ensuring their overall well-being.
