Pakistan on Sunday strongly condemned the recent attacks by the Israeli army occupying Gaza, which have reportedly resulted in the martyrdom of several Palestinian civilians and the injury of many others.
In a formal statement, the Foreign Office characterized the military actions as a “blatant violation” of international law, pertinent United Nations resolutions, and the recently concluded peace agreement at Sharm el-Sheikh.
The ministry asserted that these assaults also undermine international efforts aimed at achieving lasting peace and stability in the region.
The government of Pakistan has reiterated its appeal to the global community, urging immediate measures to end what it termed “Israeli impunity” and ceasefire violations, and to uphold international human rights and humanitarian law.
The communication further reaffirmed Pakistan”s principled position in favor of the establishment of an independent, sovereign, viable, and contiguous State of Palestine, based on pre-June 1967 borders, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.
