Pakistan Strongly Condemns Israeli Attacks in Gaza, Citing Civilian Casualties

Pakistan has condemned, in the strongest possible terms, recent attacks by Israeli forces across Gaza which have reportedly led to the deaths of several Palestinian civilians, including women and children, and left numerous others injured.

According to a statement issued today from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs characterized the military actions as a blatant infringement of international law, pertinent United Nations resolutions, and a recently concluded peace accord at Sharm el-Sheikh. Islamabad further noted that such operations undermine global efforts to secure lasting peace and stability in the region.

The Government of Pakistan has renewed its appeal to the international community, urging it to take prompt measures to address Israeli impunity and halt violations of the ceasefire. The statement also emphasized the need to uphold international human rights and humanitarian law.

Concluding its statement, Pakistan reaffirmed its long-standing and principled stance in support of establishing an independent, sovereign, and viable Palestinian state. This position advocates for a contiguous state based on pre-June 1967 borders, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif designated as its capital.
