The Punjab government is actively pursuing significant cooperation from the Netherlands to support its major provincial initiatives, particularly in the areas of smart irrigation and climate-resilient agriculture.
During a meeting with the Dutch Ambassador, Robert Jan Siegert, in Lahore today, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz conveyed the province”s keen interest in developing a broad and robust economic partnership with the European nation.
Sharif highlighted that Dutch collaboration could prove highly beneficial for critical government programs, including the “Suthra Punjab” campaign, alongside advancements in water management and farming techniques.
She stated that the relationship between Pakistan and the Netherlands is founded upon shared development goals. The Chief Minister also expressed a desire to foster strong linkages with Dutch universities and to encourage the establishment of joint research programs.
