A 55-year-old man was found dead in his residence in the Lyari area on Monday.
According to an Edhi Foundation report, the deceased was later identified as Muhammad Younus son of Abdul Ghafoor.
The hanging body was found in a house located in Nabi Dad Lane, Street No. 01, near Gabol House.
Edhi Foundation volunteers reached the spot and shifted the body via ambulance to Civil Hospital for the completion of medico-legal formalities.
The incident falls within the limits of Kalakot police station, which has been informed of the matter.
