Two suspected robbers were arrested on Tuesday following an armed encounter between law enforcement agencies and alleged criminals on Jigar Muradabadi Road, with one suspect also injured in the exchange of fire.
According to a report from the Jamshed Quarters Police Station, the incident occurred on Tuesday in Street No. 36 when officers encountered the suspects, leading to an exchange of fire.
The two individuals taken into custody have been identified as M. Khalid son of M. Ashraf and Bilaluddin son of Rahimuddin. M. Khalid was injured during the clash.
After the encounter, the injured suspect was shifted to the hospital for immediate medical attention. Authorities seized a pistol along with bullets and a motorcycle from the scene.
The Jamshed Quarters Police have initiated a further investigation into the matter.
