Security guard burnt to death in fire lit to ward off cold in Karachi’s Landhi

In a tragic incident in the Landhi area, a security guard has been burnt to death in a fire lit to ward off the cold.

The deceased, who died during the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday, has been identified as 45-year-old Muhammad Safar son of Allah Wasayo.

The incident occurred near Jogi Mor in Aurangzeb Town, where the guard was reportedly warming his hands by the fire to ward off the cold.

Following the incident, the Edhi ambulance service moved the body to the Shah Latif Town police station for further proceedings.
