Protest in Nasirabad against nepotism in government jobs and irregularities in Hari Cards

The Sindh Taraqi Pasand Party Taluka Nasirabad held a protest here today, alleging that lower-grade government posts are being auctioned off, sidelining deserving and educated youth.

A procession organized by STP Taluka Nasirabad marched from Nonari Muhalla to the Nasirabad Sachal Press Club. The protest was led by party leaders including District General Secretary Imdad Ali Soomro, Comrade Ashiq Ali Nonari, Mansoor Ali Soomro, Naseer Nonari, Sajan Ali Chandio, Shabbir Channa, Sakhawat Ali Nonari, and Munir Ahmed Chinjni.

On this occasion, STP leaders claimed that the district administration is filling posts from Grade 1 to Grade 4 based on financial transactions and personal recommendations. They strongly condemned the alleged nepotism, sale of jobs, and irregularities related to Hari Cards.

The protestors stressed that the absence of a transparent recruitment process has forced the youth to protest on the streets. They described the alleged corruption not merely as administrative incompetence but as “blatant negligence of the youth’s future.”

The party leaders issued a warning, demanding an immediate, independent, and impartial investigation into the recruitments. They insisted that if prompt action is not taken against those found responsible, the scope of the protest movement will be significantly expanded.
