Two suspected dacoits have been taken into custody, one of them injured, following an encounter with law enforcement agencies in Model Colony Railway Society, while their third accomplice managed to escape.
An exchange of fire took place between the suspects and police officials on Monday. At the end of the shooting, the authorities successfully apprehended two individuals allegedly involved in criminal activity.
Upon searching the suspects, a pistol with ammunition, multiple mobile phones, and a motorcycle were recovered from their possession.
The injured suspect has been immediately shifted to a hospital for medical treatment. Model Colony police have initiated further investigation into the matter.
