The Assistant Commissioner of Mirpur Sakro has sealed two Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) shops in Dhabeji city for operating without licenses and in violation of safety regulations. It was feared that these shops could cause a major accident.
This action on Thursday was part of a comprehensive and organized operation against illegal encroachments, led by Assistant Commissioner Mirpur Sakro, Nabi Bakhsh Solangi.
With the cooperation of the police, municipal staff, and officers from relevant departments, the campaign utilized heavy machinery to demolish numerous encroachments across the city. The clearance drive targeted illegal constructions, extended shop awnings, pushcarts, and other obstructions on government land, roads, and footpaths.
Officials stated that the removal of these obstacles has restored traffic flow and eased the movement of citizens.
Speaking on the occasion, Assistant Commissioner Nabi Bakhsh Solangi said that the primary goal of the district administration is to rid the city of the “land mafia,” ensure the safety of public life and property, and establish the rule of law.
He affirmed that strict legal action will be taken without discrimination against illegal encroachers, those running illicit businesses, and violators of safety protocols. Mr. Solangi added that this campaign is not a temporary measure but will continue on a permanent basis to improve the overall beauty, cleanliness, and law and order situation in the region’s cities.
