Tehran Extends Gratitude to Islamabad for Opposing UN Resolution

Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi has conveyed his government’s appreciation to Pakistan for its significant support during a United Nations Human Rights Council session in Geneva, where a resolution concerning Iran was debated.

This appreciation was expressed during a telephonic conversation with Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar today. During their conversation, the two officials also discussed current regional and international issues.

Tehran’s top diplomat specifically thanked the Deputy Prime Minister for Islamabad’s stance at the UN council, which included a formal request for a vote on the resolution and ultimately casting a ballot against the motion.
