The outgoing Chinese Consul General, Zhao Shiren, on Sunday lauded Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi for his significant contribution to enhancing Pakistan-China relations during a farewell meeting in Lahore.
Mr Naqvi, who also serves as the Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board, paid tribute to the departing diplomat for his services throughout his tenure and extended his best wishes for the future.
In his remarks, Mr Zhao commended the leadership of the Interior Minister, stating that he played a valuable part in strengthening the enduring bond between the two allied nations.
The meeting concluded with a symbolic exchange of gifts. The interior minister presented Mr Zhao with a cricket bat autographed by Pakistani national players, while the Chinese envoy gifted Mr Naqvi a book authored by Chinese President Xi Jinping.
