A 27-year-old youth was injured by a gunshot after resisting a robbery attempt on Monday in the Surjani Town area.
According to a report from the area’s police station, the victim was identified as Naqibullah son of Malook Muhammad. He was targeted by unidentified assailants in Kaneez Fatima Society.
The suspects opened fire after Naqibullah foiled their attempt to rob him, resulting in his injury.
The injured person was later shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for medical treatment.
Officials at the Surjani Town police station have confirmed that an investigation into the incident has been initiated to apprehend the culprits.
