Police officer injured by gunshot while foiling robbery attempt in Karachi’s Orangi

A 32-year-old police constable was injured by a gunshot on Saturday while foiling a robbery attempt in Orangi Town.

According to official sources, the officer was identified as Constable Abdullah Zaki, son of Muhammad Zakaria, badge number 38933.

The incident occurred in the Gulshan-e-Bihar area, Sector 16, within the jurisdiction of District West.

Following the incident, the injured officer was immediately transferred to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where he is receiving treatment.

Officials at the Pak Bazar police station have initiated a formal investigation into the armed attack. Further details will be revealed as the investigation progresses.
