Police encounter in Karachi’s Karimabad, 3 arrested including one injured suspect

A shootout occurred following a police encounter with alleged robbers on Saturday in the APWA College ground in Karimabad, resulting in the arrest of three individuals, including one in an injured state.

According to a report issued by the police, the authorities exchanged fire with the suspected criminals, which resulted in their arrest.

The injured suspect has been identified as Ahsan Akbar son of Muhammad Anwar. The names of the other two arrested individuals are Muhammad Tanzeel son of Ameer Rehman, and Muhammad Ahmed son of Abdul Kalam.

The authorities recovered two pistols and bullets from the scene. The injured suspect has been moved to the hospital for medical treatment.

A case has been registered at the Gulberg police station, where further investigation into the matter is underway.
