Ten individuals have been taken into custody for verification following a security search operation conducted by police forces in multiple neighborhoods within the jurisdiction of Shams Colony Police Station on the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday.
Under the supervision of the Superintendent of Police for the Industrial Area Zone, a comprehensive check of the area was carried out in this extensive operation, in which female officers also participated.
During this intelligence-based action, law enforcement personnel searched 1,950 individuals and 1,450 households. The search also included 388 commercial properties, including various shops, hostels, and plazas.
Authorities also checked 361 motorcycles and 131 other vehicles as part of the comprehensive combing activity.
In addition to the detained individuals, four motorcycles were seized and moved to the police station for further investigation.
The stated purpose of this large-scale operation was the pre-emptive prevention of crime and to protect the lives and property of local citizens.
