The staff and students of Government Superior Science College Khairpur organized a large protest on Tuesday on the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day, where slogans like “Kashmir banega Pakistan” were raised and demanded the resolution of the conflict through the United Nations.
The event was organized under the leadership of College Principal Ghulam Asghar Kaskheli to express solidarity with the Kashmiri people.
During the series of speeches, participants condemned the “ignorant and cowardly attacks” of the Indian forces and emphasized that such actions cannot demoralize the Muslims of the region. Kashmir was repeatedly referred to as the “beautiful valley.”
Those who addressed the gathering included Professors Waliullah Mehesar, Shafiq Vassan, Hizbullah Soomro, Fida Hussain Mehesar, Baqar Raza Zaidi, Saleem Raza Vassan, Shahana Khatoon, and Sajida Asad, in addition to Chief Librarian Zulfiqar Channa.
Student speakers included Muhammad Subaro, Muhammad Abbas Shar, Naeem Raza Chandio, Abdul Wahab, and Muhammad Rashid Kaddu.
The event concluded with a rally, where participants also chanted slogans of “Pakistan Zindabad” and unanimously demanded that the Kashmir issue be resolved through the international platform of the United Nations.
