Inspector General of Police (IGP) Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi today initiated a comprehensive review of police welfare, issuing directives aimed at boosting officer performance and improving public service through enhanced facilities and technological reforms.
During a high-level meeting focused on the well-being of the capital”s police force, the IGP emphasised that the welfare of personnel is a paramount priority.
He reiterated his conviction that providing improved amenities would not only elevate the professional output of officers but also translate into a higher standard of service for citizens.
Special instructions were issued to guarantee the timely provision of necessary resources, ensuring that personnel can execute their professional duties without impediment. The police chief also directed senior officers to integrate modern technology and implement reforms to further raise the quality of public engagement.
The meeting, attended by senior officials including DIG Headquarters Malik Jameel Zafar, also saw the IGP receive briefings from department heads on various ongoing developmental and welfare projects.
In a specific directive to the Logistics wing, IGP Rizvi mandated that the supply of equipment and facilities to all field units must be conducted with transparency and efficiency to ensure all administrative matters are handled professionally.
