Two people were injured for unknown reasons in a firing incident near the Lyari Expressway in PIB Colony on Saturday.
The injured were identified as 19-year-old Hassan Ali, son of Muhammad Ali, and 31-year-old Sahil, son of Riaz.
Rescue workers immediately shifted both individuals to a nearby medical facility for treatment. The attack occurred in the Essa Nagri area.
The PIB police station of District East has started an investigation into the matter. The motive for the shooting has yet to be determined as the investigation is ongoing.
