Pledge to struggle for urban issues at the oath-taking of Naseerabad Kathia Mahalla Youth Alliance’s newly elected youth body

The newly elected leadership of the Kathia Mahalla Youth Alliance announced the launch of a formal struggle to solve the city’s basic problems, including persistent water shortages and inadequate sanitation arrangements, after an oath-taking ceremony held here on Saturday.

The oath-taking of the eighth body of the Kathia Mahalla Youth Alliance Kaman Naseerabad was held at Shah Latif Public Park. Renowned social figure and journalist Aijaz Ali Soomro administered the oath to the new office-bearers.

A large number of political and social leaders, journalists, and citizens of the city participated in the ceremony.

Addressing the gathering, Muhammad Rafi Laghari, Sain Zahid Tunio, and Comrade Inayat Tunio, among other speakers, said that the organization is engaged in continuous efforts to solve important local issues. They identified reliable water supply, access to drinking water, city-wide sanitation, solar lighting, and educational facilities as key areas of focus.

In his address, the new president of Kaman Naseerabad, Sufi Ghaffar Channa, reiterated the group’s commitment to tackling these fundamental challenges, whether they relate to the Town Committee or the education department.

After welcoming the participants, Mr. Channa formally announced that an organized campaign would soon be launched to address the city’s major issues, signaling a more determined approach from the youth organization.
