Turkiye Extends Condolences to Pakistan After Fatal Islamabad Bombing

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan conveyed heartfelt condolences to Pakistan today following a tragic bomb blast in the capital that resulted in the loss of precious lives.

According to an official information today, the message of sympathy was delivered during a telephone conversation with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, on behalf of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the people of Turkiye.

In response, Mr Dar thanked the Turkish leadership for their solidarity during this difficult time.

The Deputy Prime Minister reaffirmed Pakistan”s unshaken resolve to combat the menace of terrorism and to protect its civilians from such heinous acts.

During their discussion, the two top diplomats also exchanged views on the state of bilateral relations and other matters of mutual interest.

The conversation additionally covered key regional and international developments, according to the state broadcaster.
