The local gold market witnessed a significant increase on Monday, with the per tola price of 24 karat gold reaching a new high of 524,762 rupees after an increase of 5,300 rupees.
This increase was also seen in other measures. The price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold became 449,898 rupees after an increase of 4,544 rupees. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 22 karat gold increased by 4,165 rupees, after which the price became 412,421 rupees.
The same bullish trend was also seen in the silver market. The per tola price of 24 karat silver was recorded at 8,615 rupees after an increase of 346 rupees. The price of 10 grams of silver also increased by 296 rupees to 7,385 rupees.
This increase in local prices is in line with the global market trend, where the international price of gold increased by 53 US dollars to 5,020 US dollars. The international price of silver also saw an increase of 3.46 US dollars, after which its price reached 81.40 US dollars.
