An investigation has been launched after the body of a man was found under mysterious circumstances on the Super Highway on Monday.
Authorities confirmed on Monday that the deceased has been identified only as Ameer, approximately 30 years of age. According to initial information, his father’s name has not yet been ascertained.
The body was found in the Ghazi Goth area near Scheme 33.
Following the discovery, the body was immediately transferred to a hospital for medico-legal procedures. Authorities are awaiting the post-mortem report to determine the definitive cause of death.
The Sachal Police Station, within whose jurisdiction this area of District East falls, is conducting further investigation into the incident.
