Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori has held Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his “patrons” in Afghanistan directly responsible for the recent Tarlai tragedy, alleging that they resort to cowardly acts as they cannot compete directly.
The governor made these remarks on Monday during a visit to Masjid Khadijatul Kubra while meeting the families of those martyred in the attack. He expressed condolences and solidarity with the bereaved.
Mr. Tessori prayed for the high ranks of the deceased and the speedy recovery of the injured. He personally assured the affected families that he would stand shoulder to shoulder with them wherever needed.
Speaking to the media, the governor described the incident as a tragic tragedy that has saddened the nation. He said, “Hussain (RA) and Hussainiyat can endure oppression but cannot bow their heads. We share equally in the grief of our brothers and will not leave them alone under any circumstances.”
He emphasized that a terrorist has no religion, his only creed is terrorism.
The Sindh Governor also praised the country’s security agencies and said that they foil “ninety-nine out of a hundred” terrorist incidents. He added that the entire nation is proud of its brave forces.
Mr. Tessori expressed his resolve, saying that the nation is united against terrorism and stressed that such cowardly attacks cannot demoralize it.
