Authorities have apprehended two individuals in connection with a major theft at a local steel mill, seizing a significant quantity of stolen copper and a vehicle allegedly used in the crime.
Bin Qasim police identified the detained individuals as Rehman Din and Waseem on Thursday. They are accused of illegally removing valuable iron and copper from the industrial installation.
During the operation, law enforcement successfully recovered 245 kilograms of copper plates. Authorities also seized a stolen truck, believed to be linked to the theft.
A formal case has been registered against both suspects. Investigations are ongoing to determine further details of the incident.
