One suspect was arrested in an injured condition after an exchange of fire following a police encounter with alleged dacoits in North Karachi on Sunday, while the other escaped.
The incident occurred near Sector Rehmania Mor, where Shaheen Force personnel encountered two suspects.
After the exchange of fire, authorities arrested a person named Aamir Ali son of Qamar Ali in an injured condition.
His accomplice managed to escape from the scene.
A pistol with bullets and a mobile phone were recovered from the scene, which the authorities took into custody.
Ajmair Nagri police has started further investigation into the matter.
