On the night between Tuesday and Wednesday, armed individuals opened fire on a vehicle on the Sujawal-Badin road, resulting in the tragic death of Rab Dino Jat, General Secretary of the Cultural Wing Hyderabad Division of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).
The attack occurred in the local area of Budho Talpur, where unknown armed individuals showered bullets on Jat’s vehicle. Jat was transferred to Sujawal District Hospital in critical condition. Despite immediate medical assistance, he could not withstand the injuries and after necessary procedures, his body was handed over to the family.
This violent incident is believed to be the result of a longstanding dispute between two community groups, which has significantly increased tension in the area. Following the incident, law enforcement agencies have deployed a large police force to maintain peace and prevent further hostilities.
The murder of a prominent political figure like Jat is raising serious concerns about the unstable situation in the area, emphasizing the need for complete investigations and additional security measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
