Two alleged robbers have been taken into custody after an armed encounter with law enforcement agencies in the Mochko area of Kemari on Wednesday, one of whom was also injured during the incident.
The encounter took place in Musharraf Colony, within the limits of the Mochko police station in Kemari district. Authorities confirmed that an exchange of fire occurred between the police and the assailants.
Following the exchange of fire, authorities successfully arrested both individuals. As a result of the encounter, one suspect was taken into custody in an injured state.
According to a police statement, a pistol and bullets were recovered from the possession of the suspects. The weapons have been confiscated by the authorities.
Law enforcement agencies state that further investigation into the matter is underway.
