Pakistan and Qatar have renewed their commitment to significantly enhance their established fraternal relations, following a telephone call today between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the Amir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, which also covered key regional and global developments.
The warm and cordial discussion saw the two leaders exchange heartfelt greetings on the blessed occasion of the Holy month of Ramadan, offering prayers for the peace and tranquility of the global Muslim community (Ummah).
During the conversation, Prime Minister Sharif conveyed his profound appreciation for Qatar”s ongoing diplomatic initiatives, particularly acknowledging the sagacious leadership of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad in promoting peace and reconciliation efforts in the Middle East and other parts of the world.
Both heads of state also exchanged perspectives on international matters and underscored their shared determination to continue close collaboration to foster stability and prosperity throughout the region and beyond.
In a subsequent post on the social media platform X, the Prime Minister described the telephonic conversation as “most warm and cordial,” reiterating that the leaders had exchanged Ramadan felicitations and reaffirmed their mutual resolve to bolster the deep-rooted, fraternal ties between the two nations.
