A suspected robber was taken into custody in an injured condition after an armed encounter with law enforcement personnel in Landhi Majeed Colony on Monday, while his accomplice managed to escape.
The incident occurred near Eid Gah Ground when a police team confronted the alleged robbers, leading to an exchange of fire.
Authorities have identified the arrested individual as Eid Muhammad, son of Noor Muhammad. A pistol with bullets, a mobile phone, and cash were recovered from his possession.
The injured suspect has been shifted to a hospital for medical treatment. Qaidabad police have initiated a formal investigation into the matter and are searching for the fugitive accomplice.
