One suspect was arrested in an injured state after an exchange of fire following a police encounter with alleged robbers on Tuesday in the Orangi Town Sector 12 area of Karachi West, while another person managed to escape.
The arrested person has been identified as Faizan son of Furqan.
After the operation, authorities recovered a pistol with rounds, three mobile phones, and some cash from the scene.
The injured suspect has been shifted to a nearby medical center for treatment.
Law enforcement officials have confirmed that further investigation into the incident is underway while the search for the escaped accomplice is also ongoing.
