Two alleged dacoits associated with the Lyari gang war were taken into custody in an injured state on Wednesday after a heavy exchange of fire with law enforcement personnel near Kashti Masjid in the Garden area.
Officials from the Garden Police Station have identified the arrested individuals as Ahmed alias Jojo and Ahmed Ali alias Malangi.
After the encounter, police officials recovered two pistols along with bullets from the possession of the accused.
The injured have been moved to the hospital for medical treatment. Concerned authorities have initiated further investigation into the matter.
