Police Bolster Security at Places of Worship in islamabad for Ramadan

Authorities have enacted specialised security arrangements for masjids and imambargahs throughout the federal capital for the duration of the holy month of Ramadan, a senior police official announced during a district-wide security assessment.

According to a police report today, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Islamabad, Muhammad Jawad Tariq, led the inspection tour, accompanied by SSP Investigations Muhammad Usman Tariq Butt and SSP Operation Qazi Ali Raza, to review existing security protocols in various locations.

During their tour, the senior officials met with police officers deployed at security points, stressing the critical importance of maintaining public safety and commending the personnel for their commitment and dedication to their duties.

The DIG affirmed that the Islamabad police are continuously engaged in efforts to safeguard the lives and property of the citizenry.

He highlighted that the force is employing all available resources to uphold law and order within the capital, concluding with a firm assurance that any elements attempting to disrupt the peace and tranquility of residents will not be tolerated.
