Hazrat Khadija’s life full of sacrifices is a beacon for Muslim women, Ulema Council Pakistan

According to Ulema Council Pakistan President Maulana Abdul Majeed Farooqi, the life of Umm-ul-Momineen Hazrat Syeda Khadijatul Kubra (RA) is the best beacon for Muslim women.

In a statement today, Abdul Majeed Farooqi described Syeda Khadija (RA) as the person who had the honor of being the first woman to embrace Islam. He emphasized her steadfast support for the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) in the early, difficult days of the religion when opposition was common.

Maulana Farooqi, presented the “highest example of the spirit of sacrifice in Islam.” He mentioned that Allah Almighty had blessed her with perfect qualities.

The cleric also mentioned that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and Syeda Khadija (RA) were blessed by Allah with four daughters and two sons.

He stated that Hazrat Khadija (RA) passed away in Makkah on the 11th of Ramadan, 10th Nabawi (three years before the migration), at the age of 64 years and 6 months, and was buried in the Hajun cemetery.

He added that the year of her death is remembered as Aam-ul-Huzn, the Year of Grief.
