The Islamabad Capital Police today instituted special security arrangements for masjids and imambargahs across the federal capital during the holy month of Ramadan, according to a senior official.
The announcement came from Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) for Operations, Qazi Ali Raza, following a comprehensive tour of various areas to evaluate the city”s security measures.
During his inspection, SSP Raza met with police officers deployed at various locations and underscored the critical importance of safeguarding the public.
He also praised the dedication of officers and personnel carrying out their responsibilities at security checkpoints.
The SSP remarked that the capital’s police force is continually engaged in the protection of citizens” lives and property.
He affirmed that all available resources are being employed to maintain law and order, adding that no elements would be permitted to disturb the peace for residents.
