Pakistani Army Destroys Afghan Taliban Post, Ammunition Depot in Border Attacks

The Pakistan Army has destroyed an Afghan Taliban ammunition depot and a military post on the Pak-Afghan border as part of ongoing counter-insurgency operations, security sources confirmed today.

According to sources, the armed forces are continuously carrying out punitive measures under the name of Operation Ghazb-ul-Haqq, targeting the Afghan Taliban and a group called ‘Fitna al-Kharij’.

In a recent engagement, a quick military strike targeted an Afghan Taliban hideout adjacent to Shawal in South Waziristan. The outpost was demolished with explosives, forcing the occupants to flee.

In addition, sources reported a successful operation in Paktika province, where an ammunition depot at Shaheen Base was completely destroyed.

The military operation is reportedly focused on targeting terrorist hideouts and military installations along the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan.
