Pakistani Envoy Praises Business Group for Exemplary Community Welfare in Dubai

Pakistan’s Ambassador to the UAE, Shafqat Ali Khan, commended a local Pakistani business for its significant contributions to community welfare during a visit to a Ramadan Iftar tent at Port Rashid on Monday.

The facility, set up by Vista Maritime Travel and Tourism, is part of a wider community service programme that provides daily Iftar meals to hundreds of people throughout the holy month.

This marks the third successive year the Pakistani business group has organised the Iftar tent, reflecting a spirit of generosity and compassion central to Ramadan.

During his attendance, Ambassador Khan distributed food boxes and interacted warmly with the attendees. He spent time with the participants, joined the collective prayers (dua), and shared the evening meal with them.

The envoy lauded Dr. Zafar Tahir Rizvi, CEO, and the management of Vista Maritime Travel and Tourism for the initiative, describing it as an excellent example of how Pakistani enterprises in the UAE positively support society.

He also expressed his gratitude to the authorities of the Government of Dubai for their support in facilitating the establishment of the charitable tent.
