A mother and her two children tragically died in a house fire in Qasimabad on Tuesday morning. The incident has left the local community in deep shock and grief.
Rescue sources identified the deceased as Maryam Siddiqui, wife of the homeowner Nadeem Siddiqui, their son Muhammad Shafi Siddiqui, and daughter Aifa Siddiqui. According to initial reports, the family died of suffocation.
According to Rescue 1122 officials, the report was received at 8:44 AM, prompting emergency crews to be dispatched immediately to the scene near Ali Palace Phase One. Firefighters faced an intense blaze that took a significant amount of time to bring under control.
After extinguishing the fire, three bodies were recovered from inside during a search of the house. The bodies were immediately moved to Civil Hospital, Hyderabad, where they will be handed over to the relatives after the necessary procedures are completed.
Initial investigation suggests that the probable cause of the fire was an electrical short circuit. However, authorities have confirmed that the final cause will be determined after further investigation. Rescue personnel have declared the scene clear.
Following the tragedy, a sense of mourning prevails in the neighborhood, and many neighbors are visiting the affected family’s home to offer condolences.
