Pakistan and Turkey Call for Urgent De-escalation as Regional Tensions Mount

Pakistan and Turkey have jointly voiced grave apprehension regarding escalating hostilities in the region, calling for an immediate de-escalation and a return to diplomatic channels to resolve disputes.

The appeal was made during a telephonic conversation between Deputy Prime Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar and his Turkish counterpart, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, where the two conferred on the evolving regional situation, according to a report by MOIB today.

Both senior officials expressed serious concern over the rising tensions that have gripped the area.

During the discussion, Mr Dar underscored that constructive dialogue and diplomacy remain the sole viable methods for resolving conflicts and fostering peace and stability.

He stressed the urgent need for a reduction in hostilities, highlighting diplomacy as the most effective path forward.
