Gharo police, during an operation, have taken two alleged members of a criminal gang into custody and recovered a firearm and a motorcycle allegedly used in illegal activities from their possession.
According to official sources, this successful operation was carried out today by personnel of the Gharo Police Station. Acting on a confidential tip-off received during a routine patrol, a team led by Sub-Inspector Abdul Hameed Rodnari intercepted the individuals near Dargah Saleem Shah on Dandari Link Road.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Sahib Dino son of Ibrahim Doki and Imran son of Peer Muhammad Doki. Authorities stated that the pair was present in the area with the intent to commit a crime.
During a search, a pistol was recovered from the possession of Sahib Dino Doki. A motorcycle was also taken into custody from the suspects, which is believed to have been used in previous crimes.
Separate cases have been registered against both individuals at the Gharo Police Station. A comprehensive investigation is now underway, which includes a review of the suspects’ potential criminal records to determine any links to other cases.
