Per tola gold price in the domestic gold market increases by Rs 4,000, silver also expensive

The domestic gold market saw a significant increase in the price of gold on Monday, with the per tola price of 24 karat gold reaching a new high of Rs 475,962 after an increase of Rs 3,900.

This increase in the price of the yellow metal was consistent across different scales. The 10-gram price of 24 karat gold increased by Rs 3,343 to Rs 408,060. Similarly, the 10-gram price of 22 karat gold saw an increase of Rs 3,064, after which its new price was recorded at Rs 374,068.

This increase in local prices is a reflection of developments in the global market, where the price of gold in the international market increased by $39 to $4,532.

Silver prices also showed an upward trend, however, the increase was relatively modest. The per tola price of 24 karat silver increased by Rs 70 to Rs 7,524, while the 10-gram price of 24 karat silver rose by Rs 60 to Rs 6,450.

Internationally, the value of silver increased by $0.70, and its price at the end of the day was $70.40.
