Two individuals on a motorcycle, employees of Fauji Foundation, were killed on the spot this morning on the Thatta-Karachi National Highway at Shora Mori near Makli after being hit by a speeding vehicle.
The deceased have been identified as Imran Ali, a resident of Karachi, and Mujahid Soomro, a resident of Khairpur. According to initial information, both colleagues were traveling towards Thatta for recreational purposes at the time of the incident.
Law enforcement agencies have confirmed that both individuals died instantly as a result of the fatal collision.
The bodies of the victims have been moved to Civil Hospital, Thatta by the police. The relatives of Imran Ali have reached the hospital, while the family of Mujahid Soomro has been informed of the tragedy.
Authorities have taken the car involved in the accident into custody and arrested the driver. Further legal proceedings regarding this fatal accident are underway.
