Order to reduce Iranian fuel prices, pumps to be sealed, legal action for violations

Sellers of Iranian fuel will face severe legal consequences for not adhering to the new mandatory prices, including the sealing of their petrol pumps. This directive was issued following a key meeting between the Hub district administration and oil sellers aimed at curbing illegal profiteering.

Following mutual consultations on Saturday, it was decided that Iranian diesel and petrol will be sold at least one hundred rupees per liter cheaper than the current price of local Pakistani fuel. The purpose of this decision is to provide substantial financial relief to the public.

During the meeting, officials strongly emphasized that any individual or pump violating this agreement will face immediate and serious legal consequences. In case of non-compliance, the concerned petrol station will be sealed, and legal proceedings will be initiated against those responsible.

Sources say that the Hub district administration is actively working to ensure strict implementation of this decision. The objective of this move is to stabilize the market for Iranian petroleum products and provide tangible relief to consumers.

To ensure full implementation of the agreement, the administration will reportedly introduce a formal monitoring system soon.
